Sweet Potato

One of our latest additions is the sweet potato. After a small plantation with very good results, we have opted to incorporate it into our catalog.

The sweet potato comes from America, from where it was introduced in Europe. It has many culinary uses.

Like potatoes, it is characterized by having a higher carbohydrate content than other vegetables, but they are slow-absorbed sugars, which makes them healthier.

Thanks to its orange color, which comes from beta-carotenes, sweet potatoes have a high content of vitamin A and antioxidants. This section also highlights anthocyanins, which have protective effects against ear and antiinflammatories.

It also stands out for the content of vitamin C and several of group B. Among the minerals, the content of manganese, an essential mineral for bone and joint care, stands out.
