Onion

The onion is among the first cultivated plants. Its origin is Central Asia. In Europe it was introduced by Greek and Roman civilizations.

Onions stand out for their high flavonoid content, mainly quercetin, which has high antioxidant properties. Especially involved in the protection of the circulatory system and prevents cardiovascular diseases. It is also indicated to help control hypertension and the formation of blood thrombi.
