Kale

We started with different varieties of cabbage several years ago, seeking to be an alternative in Almería, and, at the same time, to encourage outdoor cultivation. We are perfecting the cultivation and the quality in each campaign, and increasing the cultivated area.

Cabbage is a plant with a very interesting composition from the nutritional standpoint. It has a high vitamin content, especially in vitamin C and folic acid. It also has few calories and a high fiber content, with a satiating and protective effect of the instestinal flora.

In its nutritional composition it is also necessary to mention the presence of phytochemical compounds with protective properties for the body, such as degenerative diseases or different types of cancer. They also stimulate the action of the immune system.

Kale is a variety from northern Germany, characterized by the intense green color of its leaves, with a very characteristic shape which has a higher vitamin A content.
